From the pledge page on their site: "PPS – Across the vast majority of Super League the average season ticket price is around or indeed more than £200. A £100 donation would not only SAVE OUR CLUB, but still be less than £200.
PLEASE ACT NOW AND MAKE YOUR PLEDGE!"
Should have made it £200 in the first place and made a go at running the club as a sustainable business then!
Folk wonder why the lower league teams get a bit wound up about stuff, they all work hard with about 5 full-time staff and an array of volunteers and run their club based on what money they get in from 'real' crowds while the SL lot throw out stupid deals trying to get all locals to support them and making it seem like they're the best thing since sliced bread and end up with a e business plan.
And what do they get for this? All the TV money, sponsorship money and a chuffing license to an 'elite' competition.
