Phil played for the Bulls in a PSF at Dewsbury a couple of weeks ago, Bulls brought a really strong side including Burgess, Donaldson, Kopczak, Sykes, Platt, Jeffries, Gale, Diskin etc, etc and Phil was head and shoulders above anyone, he continually smashed his way through the Rams defence, smashed Fozzard and all the Rams props to smitherines, his work rate was absolutly immense in attack and defence, he looked to be the biggest, fittest and nastiest player on the field.
No one in Super League will smash Phil, i dont know what he has done with himself in the off season but he is massive and as strong as an Ox and is in the best shape of his life, oh and theres no doubting him as a prop

He may have ripped it up in a friendly, but he was trying to impress, others around him have a contract and if they have a crap game, they still get a game next week, if he'd have done nowt he was gone.
