A good performance from the ref and his team, made a couple of errors, but generally controlled a game which always had the potential to boil over.
After some of the recent performances, this guy is definately one of the better refs in this league. ( i hope this post will not come back and haunt me in the future).

you're right, he could have gone off giving penalties here, there and everywhere (rockin' ronnie etc.) but he didn't, he talked to the players and we ended up with a great game.

Watching it on sky back he made a few errors with dropped balls, forward passes etc, However over all he controlled the game well, Kept the game flowing and spoke to the players. I personally dont think he gave decisions to one team or the other and had a excellent game overall.

Well done Refereee, its not often we get to say it, but well done.

He did well and no ref is going to get 100% of calls right but it's getting the important ones that count.
still not sure how vid ref gave the try though.

You will never get a Ref who will make no mistakes but all I ask for is somebody who communicates well to both teams and is consistant and the fans know the game is hard but in control. The Ref last night had a tough job on but still had everything in control and talked to the players constantly. To be honest I do feel he is the best Ref in this League and hope he doesnt get moved up to SL. They can keep the likes of Child and co
