O'h apart from match day, how many of you/us go there at other times?

Very sad news indeed.

I'm far from a regular drinker there, but I have been there on other occasions than on match days

It's bad enough pubs are going out of business but for a quality pub like the Pump Room to go for non-financial reasons is shocking. Looks like I'm going to have to pretend I'm 15 and drink alcopops round the Town Centre pre-match now rather than have a decent pint.

A sad loss

Bad news as any pub serving quality real ale is ok by me. On the plus side the newly re opened Tap and spile (now called dirty dicks) is a cracking pub.
