2010 Squad
1. Greenwood- Got much better hopefully will get better this year under high ball etc.
2. Patterson- Most improved player last year, Best outside back.
3. Goddard- Good player had poor season, 2 tries from centre. Not good enough
4. Royston- Great utility player, Ghosts through the line, dodgy under high ball.
5. Haley- Best catcher of a high ball in league, Mr Consistent.
6. Branigan- Impressed by some performances at Gateshead
7. Black- Best scrum half in league.
8. Maloney- Great going forward, good player in this league
9. Penky- Faxs' and league's best player on his day no question.
10. Aizue- Haven't seen much of him but heard good things
11. Larder?- Great defensively, not great going forward
12. Bannister- Great defensively, not great going forward
13. Beswick- Smart player, good in defence and attack
14. Gleeson- Great player most consistent playmaker last season
15. Roberts- Looks good but doesn't really make yards just bounces of people, ok in defence
16. Tamghart- Dynamic,makes great yards, but too many loose carries and missed tackles
17. Watene- Not fit enough really, decent prop may find it hard to get in the team
18. Bowman?- Good on his day not physically big enough yet to compete week in week out
19. Young Bowman?- Good future ahead of him, u20s next season or maybe worth loaning out to Championship 1
20. Wrench?- Great workhorse know what you're going to , get brilliant finish to the season
21. Cherryholme- Ok may find it hard to get in when everyone fit with wrench, tamghart,maloney and aizue my starting 4.
22. Gene- Should be quality at this level
23. Worrincy?- Good player good end to season, worth another deal as expect big second year.
Not all bad.
