How did Fax vote on this prior to relegation??
as always, clubs seek to look after themselves. The SL clubs do it now and will continue to do so. I would love a return to two up two down from two divisions, but it will never happen! The fact is that sl clubs budgets ae too reliant upon the sky money. The only way things would change is if sky did "an ITV digital" and went under! that may level the playing field, but it would certainly lead to losing a good number of clubs.
My advice to fax, is keep doing what you are doing, on and off the pitch. Be financially sound and transparent, and finish the ground. If you keep winning, have no money probs and the ground is done, you will be a shoe in. there is no other club in the national leagues (except possibly Widnes) who could fill the criteria like you do!
Toulouse wont get a sniff! The SL are realising slowly that the novelty of shipping fans, club officials and game officials every fortnight is wearing off! When Catalans play by the same rules as every other club they wont be as good, and the expected improvements in the french national side havent happened.
