How stressful was that! First Town game I've been to for many a year. It does show that there's some latent sporting support in the town, with 6000 turning up to the game today (plus 2000 from Chorley). Enjoyed the experience, although nothing like supporting Fax in a final.

I listened on the town commentary , seemed town made hard work of it, (like all Halifax teams do) but a win is a win,

6000+ casuals turned up some may have been genuine conference football followers, but most would be locals, how does either team harness those guys into coming regular, imagine what a 5000+ fan base would do for either team
Although can do without the mindless thug element town seem to have acquired
,and the moronic people who invaded the pitch, would have looked pretty stupid if the ref had taken the players off the field.

Days has been said, poor game but the result was all that counted, though a good footballing performance may have had a few coming back next season. From what I was told the team will be very different next season anyway as most are only on one year contracts and we're brought in to do a job, which they did.

On the brainless scroats, that's what they are and nobody needs them, must be plenty of photos so ban them for life.
