Barrow has moved to Cumbria (or Cumbria has moved to Barrow) as is Penrith and they don't call it the Lake District due to lack of rain.

Also when you have finished insulting the people from the County of Cumbria remember that they have a fine tradition steeped in rugby league that has produced countless quality RL players over the years.

Bin collectors and road workers may not be in your exalted company but any chance of some respect for them as people.

Had some great chats yesterday, nice folk, a club with a great tradition.
Griff will tell you that tradition means nothing, well I feel more welcome, am able to speak with people who love Rugby League at grounds like Batley, Fev, Workington, Whitehaven, etc etc , than any time at whichever ground Seagulls have played.

Cumbria is just a name. Whitehaven/Workington are in Cumberland, Barrow is in Lancashire. Unfortunately for them!

aye I was born in Lancashire but got chucked into Cumbria when the boundaries were moved. I consider myself a Lancastrian and proud of it.

Cumberland have produced loads of great players. Cumbria has produced none. Largely because it doesn't exist as a place.
