Cowboys Canter to World Club Championship WinA sold out Headingley Carnegie Stadium played hosts to the World Club Challenge as a Rhinos side, without eight of their 2015 Grand Final winning side, took on a North Queensland Cowboys who could boast the same seventeen who became NRL champions last Autumn.
With the Super League already 2-0 down in the series, the Rhinos were looking to restore some northern hemisphere pride as well as add a fourth trophy to their packed cabinet.
The Cowboys were massive favourites, and Leeds rank outsiders, but with horrendous pre-kick off weather conditions of torrential rain and driving wind the Rhinos fans will have been hoping that their side could turn the tables.
