Also I don't post on here very often but while there's a few Prestoners on the thread I thought I might sneak in a quick plug...my band Cue Tigers are playing their first proper gig at an all dayer at the Dog and Partridge on Sunday 3rd July. I think we're first on at around 4ish, come on down! The sound is a lot better than The Ship!

Will they clean up afterwards though?

On a different note, just listening to My Morning Jacket's Circuital, and I've two words to say about it and one of them is fantastic. Big thumbs up to what could be their best one yet.

I'm going to Sonisphere Festival, and then Iron Maiden at the end of July (Not a festival I know)

Went to Don Valley on Saturday for the AM gig and got my first chance to really listen to Miles Kane. He's a good showman and has a very good sound, a bit Liam Gallagher-esque. Very worth a listen IMO.

F*ck me sideways, Little Hell is a bit good.

Me too as I only live a few miles away.

At £35 for a ticket you can't beat it for value. James were worth the admission price on their own last year.

I'm off to see Friday night at Leeds this year. Can't wait to see how good Muse are live.

I meant the last part, sums up Kerrangs audience. I actually don't mind MCR or BMTH, but they never should've won the awards.

Stop worrying about awards ... just enjoy the music you like ... it really doesn't matter that much what anyone else thinks.

I went to see Milk Maid last night. Formed by the bass player from Nine Black Alps, there were echoes of them in there but I was hearing bits of the Cribs, Teenage Fanclub and Pavement. I liked them.

If they're anything like they were on Saturday (and you can bank that they will be) you're in for a treat!

Already got my tickets for the arena tour in Nov, and I'm well excited.

Saw them on the NME new music tour at the beginning (when, on the night of the show, they were promoted above a wazzed off Maximo Park on the strength of 'Dancefloor's success), then again at Blackpool's Winter Gardens on the strength of their 2nd album if I remember rightly.

Humbug is forgettable, but the new album is great and, if reviews are to be believed, they're back on top form for the live shows.

Bit disappointed that the Vaccines have been chosen for support, but there's always the bar...

Just ordered for MEN. Not a big fan of the place but we had Ticketmaster vouchers we'd won

so it seemed good use of them. As for The Vaccines - I didn't like the album at all at first but I have to admit it's grown on me and I'm quite looking forward to seeing them. On the plus side for you, they only play about half an hour

Struggled for a while for tickets this morning eventually got them for Newcastle.
It will be the third time I've seen them, after Saturday and in 2007 after FWN was released. Saturday was the best gig I've ever been too so I'm hoping for more fireworks on November 5th. (See what I did there?)
As for the Vaccines, they have some decent songs but they are awful live! I'd much prefer a smaller band like Mabel Love, who supported on Saturday and were very good, to get the chance.
