Not a very good analogy really if the ice cube in the teapot is in the freezer is it, and what has having logistical issues across the globe got to do with the troublesome French?
Maybe you'd be better off not trying to work it out then and leave it to those that have a better idea, not sure what all this has to do with the growing popularity of Boris anyway.'"
You're starting to sound a little confused.
As for "leaving it to others", this is an open forum. You know, somewhere to share ideas and opinions.
Not sure wheat the "troublesome French, specifically, have to do with this but, maybe, they are just a country/race that you dont like.
Generally, I've always found them to be ok.
As for the teapot and ice cube. It's hot tea in a teapot, with a shrinking ice cube - just thought you ought to know, to avoid anymore confusion.

I'm starting to get a little embarrassed for you, seemingly taking all your views from the British far right press.
With Britain now absent from influence Macron has done all the European running on the Ukraine situation and - as has been widely reported - spoke at length to Putin on Monday.
He is, meanwhile, breezing to re-election. Something which will make the red faced nutters in this country absolutely furious for some reason. Although fury is their default position to be fair.

What views would those be? It's hardly my fault if the British far right press want to quote me.
If Britain is now absent from influence please explain the why Boris is at the forefront of everything going on, on the television in those Baltic states Poland etc, where is Macron? Oh I'm told by the holy ghost he's in Moscow talking to Putin, doesn't seem to have had much effect there, not sure why the red faced nutters on here should be absolutely furious because he's breezing to re-election, good luck to him I say, it seems to have cheered you up no end, although to be fair if anybody needs cheering up it's a Lib-Dem rhino supporter

| The topic say Ukraine, you principal objection is that no one will give de Pfeffel credit for helping solve the problem. I am sure when he does he will but currently our contribution is to provide arms to Ukraine and a way for Russians to launder their money. He could take stronger action but is in fact quite weak within his own cabinet, with any decisions he takes tainted by money.
The other major problem is not about Ukraine at all but that I call him de Pfeffel, I bet many of his previous dalliances have much more descriptive names for him.

Chizz, as the youth would say, you're chatting nonsense.
First of all, any opinion is absolutely fine, it would be boring as hell if we all shared the same views.
As for The French disrupting everything ?? really ??
There are no Frenchmen in N. Ireland but, there are problems moving goods in either direction. The difficulties are primarily down to the "oven ready deal" which your favourite political leader spouted on about and then served all of us with.
Ironically, you should be joining me in taking out your anger with him ??
As for Labour, despite what you may believe, I have plenty of issues with their policies but, as they are not in power, it is not they who are responsible for the difficulties that you or I may have.
Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to point the finger at them after the next election.
Btw, I said ice cube in a TEAPOT, (not kettle).
I realise that some trendy folk drink iced tea these days but, I think that you are being deliberately obtuse and pedantic but, that's your prerogative.

You wonder why I think you're getting your news from dodgy pro Tory sources. Then you immediately claim that "Boris" is at the "forefront of everything going on". When as any consumer of foreign or international news would know he is utterly invisible.

In fairness, reality sucks just now.
The Daily Mail and "Express" versions of reality, make it easier for some to sleep at night.

Johnson is just following the major world leaders - slowly and, in the case of the Tory-backing oligarchs, inadequately. Your desperate attempt to create a false, almost comedic, impression of world leadership is fooling nobody but yourself.

| So Georgia and Ukraine are about to submit applications for EU membership. This along with Sweden and Finland increasingly likely to try and join NATO, and China and India gradually distancing themselves from Russia, it seems Russia is becoming very isolated. Hopefully Ukraine can hold out long enough and force Russia to deescalate.

Following world major leaders "plural" who are these people?
Slowly and in the case of Tory backing oligarchs inadequately, what does that mean?.
I asked if people on here were impressed by Boris's interaction in this unsavoury business, and because you can't grasp the simplicity of my question I'm desperately attempting to create a false almost comedic impression of world leadership, but it's not fooling you only myself, well you've certainly got me sussed out cous, perhaps you'd like to explain your thoughts on that one.

I think it’s time for you to give up your attempt to get another thread blocked. I wonder how many you have been successful in doing so since your return to the forum. I would suggest you do a little more reading because you would not need to ask some of the questions you do, but that is your intention, I doubt other than you and the goldfish weekly have not covered the 18 month grace period given to the existing Russian oligarchs to sort their finances out.
I will suggest that others follow the same rule because you never know you may learn something, if you really want to or maybe you should just concentrate on fish be it trapped in a glass case or ruthlessly being caught by the French or Spanish who may just have had their fishing industries better prepared for Brexit.
