It seems she deliberately engineered the resignation in an attempt to cause maximum damage to the government. She gave them an hours notice before she was going to tweet her resignation. Whatever your opinion on what is going on in Gaza you would think any [igovernment minister[/i would give the government she is a member of the time to assuage any issues she had and if no suitable explanations or assurances were forthcoming[i then[/i resign but given Cameron was on holiday and the time limit she set this was a decision already made.
There is as much if not more politics in her decision as principle. I wouldn't be surprised for her to turn up as a UKIP candidate in a predominantly Muslim constituency once again failing to recognise the tokenism that got her the nomination in the fist place. She is a nasty piece of work IMO who delighted in being part of the establishment she now claims to dislike (Old Etonian mob running the country).

I doubt UPRIK would have her anywhere near them. So far she's managed to lose the only election she's fought.
There will be more to come though, of that there is no doubt. Apparently she was a very dilligent diarist and I don't reckon it will be too long before those diaries see the light of day.
Michael Howard enobled her and brought her into the shadow cabinet simply as a token: non-white, female and Muslim - ticks a lot of boxes. Then Cameron stuck with her, despite fact that she was a gob[is[/ihite and thick as two planks, facts that seem to have passed him by. He's never been noted as a good picker of people

You forgot to mention token Notherner in the list. She was good value for money in the tokenism stakes - why have 4 oiks filling up seats that Etonians could fill when 1 would do!

Sorry I forgot about her Dewsburyness.
Maybe it's time Camoron made the post of Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury a cabinet position? Then he could have Priti (I really, really mean that) Patel at the table. Patel may not tick as many boxes but she is non-white and female. She is also as thick as Warsi, so should fit in nicely

The Baroness may not have been the sharpest tool in the box but her resignation letter said what we all knew - the remaining members of cabinet post-reshuffle haven't got a clue what they are doing. I hope she puts the boot in in the lead up to the election with a serialisation of her diaries in the Express or the Mail!

| What ultimately made me puke was Cameron's letter "to Warsi" pointing out - as if she didn't know - that she was the "first Muslim woman" in Cabinet. Camoron trying to score political brownie points even in a supposedly personal letter.

| So, now that those Islamic State nutjobs have taken hold of 3 towns in Iraq that have/had significant Christian population, i do hope we will hear from numerous leading Muslims/casual ''News Gazans'' on how they should not waltz in and butcher the sh*t out of Christians who refuse to convert to Islam or refuse to leave. However, i'm quite fond of living, so i won't be holding my breath just now.

Right to get rid of a vicious dictator.
Wrong to do it in such a stupid, pig-headed, arrogant, uncomprehending, typically American way with no plan for the aftermath, ensuing power vacuum and tribal/religious differences, and not be prepared to stay there for the next 20 years.

I find it completely and utterly bizarre that councils in the UK are flying Palestine flags to show 'solidarity' with their cause. It is potentially hugely divisive.
And then we have this muppet peddling his usual nonsense:

| Well, after the ceasefire that meant the killings stopped for a bit, Hamas have decided that the way forward is more ineffectual rocket attacks. Palestinians should probably show pictures of their dead kids to Hamas leaders instead of Western media outlets.
Still, the professional morally outraged seemed to have quietened down, perhaps they found a picture of a cat doing a handstand on Twitter.

Maybe they just figure that if they continue to let the Zionists go through with their plans that death is better than slowly dying in a prison which is what Gaza is.
Now if only Gaza had a few F15s and 1 tonne bombs they Israelis may come to the negotiating table rather than say No to everything

However, you could never accuse the victims within Gaza of that, could you?
It's OK for us to blow hot air about this, some people live this life, day in day out.
I thought I'd mention that in case your memory had slipped.
