Guess what, millions of people feel exactly the same as he does. I look at social media and it's roughly a 50/50 split. He's perfectly entitled to his views and he's perfectly entitled to air them if asked. So someone says something you don't like? Tough, that's life.

Re Clarkson, I cannot stand the guy, especially Top Gear, but can't see what all the fuss is about over the comments. Just another excuse for the 'I am outraged' brigade to moan about something else. He tried to make a joke, which failed badly because he really isn't funny, but some of the reaction to it has been hilariously pathetic. |

Far from being outraged by his comments, I just find him crass and unfunny, if he wants to tell jokes, he should try stand-up. He's unentertaining in a similar way to Noel Edmonds and Alan Carr. He's a commentator in a similar vein to Richard Littlejohn, claiming to speak for the "non-PC brigade". I don't quite know what exactly he wants to do but whatever it is, he seems to appeal to an obnoxious stereotype of British male. |
