Scan for nasties with your anti virus software and something like Anti Mal-ware bytes, then do a Windows update, if you don't have Windows search 4.0 installed (it is an optional update) install it.
The shortcut for search is Windows Key + F

| If Mac OSX Lion is at stage 3 of development, roughly how long do you think it will be before it's released?

(please don't say 400Hz!)

Hz stands for beans. It's the amount of Heinz you could fit in between the frames. The more the better although I seriously doubt you'll even notice the difference.

| Think of it as a refresh rate, the higher the hertz the better motion will look on screen, like say a rugby ball being passed will look much smoother (and with less screen artifacts) on a 600hz than a 200hz.

My explanation was better. And would you really notice the difference? I was buying a TV the other week and the reviews of the ones I was looking at (Not in the same scope as Wheels I add) it said refresh rates were being over prioritised as a marketing tool and that you wouldn't notice the difference between a 200 and 600.

Correct. A good panel with a fast refresh rate will show little difference between various scan speeds.

Do I have to put the beans on the screen in the shop to determine the rate?
If this is the case, how many beans does a 400g can contain on average?
Does Rhianna like beans? Doe she like them 'til she Hertz?

Probably July or August. Early September at the latest.
That's 2011, before anyone does the jokes.

| Certainly don't choose purely on the Hz. But seeing how there usually isn't much difference in cost between two similar screens; one with 200hz and one with 600hz, may as well go for the 600hz. But no ultimately most wouldn't notice.

| Keep getting the following message on screen ...

And how many of those wizz bang features get used? I maybe should have added "for the price" on the end. Adobe price $350, Cute price $50.

Well, if you're not interested in whizz-bang features, I believe OpenOffice has a pdf import functionality that lets you perform basic edits on pdf documents.
So it looks like CutePDF can be beaten on both features [iand[/i price.

| We use CutePDF in the business for one important feature that Open Office can't do - merge two or more separate PDF docs into one, an important feature for us.

Sounds like you're on to a winner, then!
Cronus should probably be asked what [ihe[/i wants to do before anyone states with utter certainty what he needs to get.

I'd approach it with caution - I can't imagine it's particularly powerful or reliable, but there again I've never used it myself.
I can imagine mangling can easily result in the output pdf.
