Suppose we should keep off the politics on the TV thread.

It is irrelevant which union she is in. The principle is you do not cross a picket line without agreement.

She irritates the hell out of me. I can't be doing with all that cheerfulness first thing in the morning.

Never crossed one in my life and never would. I haven't been a member of any union since 1982 but would never cross a picket. When the posties had a series of strikes a few years ago, I discovered my postman was scabbing, so on the days of strikes I gaffer-taped my letterbox

What if she isn't in a union at all? What if she is but had agreement?
