what do you care anyway, you voted to screw the disabled so that space probably won't be needed soon.

Like expecting not to pay to sit in first class on the train.
Mind, we are talking about someone who changed their name from Gideon because they thought, as a teen, that it was too Jewish-sounding for a future PM.

He's a Minister of the Crown, he's supposed to be in control of then country's economy, are you suggesting he's so incompetent he can't even control where his own car is parked? Sounds like he's not responsible enough to have the benefit of a taxpayer funded car. He can't be trusted to live on this lifestyle of dependency. In keeping with current govt policy he and all Tories should be denied the use of a car of any description.

No they shouldn't be paid in vouchers. There is plenty of information around explaining why not if you cared to look for it and educate yourself on the issue.

So you're saying he can't even control his taxpayer funded ministerial car? It should be taken away from him then. He obviously can't be trusted with it. This kind of taxpayer funded lifestyle is what needs to change, it's merely incentivising Ministers to be lazy and disorganised. They're trapped in this dependent lifestyle/culture. Obviously the whole system needs reform. We just want them to make the same decisions hard working families all over the country have to make.

It's his taxpayer funded car, if he can't even control that how can he hope to control a huge economy? Why did he need dropping off at the front? Hard working families across the country manage to walk from all parts of the car park. It's this taxpayer funded lifestyle that's the problem, it's encouraged laziness in Osborne. Following stated government policy, this lifestyle should be taken away from him in his own best interests. We simply want people living on taxpayer funded lifestyles like him to have to make the same decisions as hard working families across the country. Following stated government policy Osborne needs to strive a little more and shirk a little less.

How many people are currently serving sentences and how many people are there? Answer me that and you'll begin to get a sense of scale.
Moreover, compare rates of the general public being found guilty in court to rates of MPs.

Quote More recently, the MPs expenses scandal saw a large number of politicians jailed; in the aftermath of the scandal four MPs and two peers were sent to prison for fiddling expenses, leading to the startling statistic that in 2011, while 0.13 per cent of the general population was in jail, a shocking 0.61 per cent of House of Commons members were in prison.'"

do they? are you sure. get youself to darwen services off the m65 at the weekend. make a note of the cars in the disabled bays and their lack of badges. especially the audi a5 with a private reg. then, take a look at the number of policemen/women who pass through during the day and do sod all about it.
and just who are the "little people" are they like "scroungers", "shirkers"? are they "raking it in"?

You have provided stats about those serving jail sentences.
JohnD was asking about people found guilty.
Not the same thing at all, as being found guilty does not always mean jail.

| To be honest, the whole story is pretty stupid and is taking up far too much time on reported media, its nice to imagine Osborne as a Tim Nice-but-Dim character who bumbles his way through life with a sneer on his face and a clueless indifference to anything that didn't go to his prep school, but actually there are far more things to worry about him than whether or not he realised that his driver had reversed into a disabled bay.
And on the subject of disabled parking bays - when they are on private property is there any legal requirement to not use them without a badge or are they just a moral suggestion that you might want to leave space here ?
