I've been really getting into 'Fever To Tell' by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It's a solid indie/punk dance record.

Lacuna Coil at Sheffield Corporation tonight for me.

I saw them perform that album in its entirety at ATP a couple of years ago. One of the best live performances I've seen.

Yeah, he was really good, I didn't really know any of his songs but they were still great. Rise against were absolutely amazing.

Manowar in Leeds were absolutely brilliant. Eric Adams has one of the best voices I have ever heard live.

A day of The Waterboys' Fisherman's Blues Collectors Edition today. It is just stunning.

Also listening to their latest effort, "An Appointment with Mr Yates." Taking the poetry of Yates and applying it to music. It is just stunning!

Saw Arctic Monkeys at the Echo Arena last night. They've truly arrived as a major league band, it's been great to watch them evolve.

Also, kudos to The Vaccines for putting in a killer support set.

Totally gone backwards from the first album. Used to love them,not fussed on them no more.

It's obvious to me that hanging around with Josh Homme has rubbed off on them. They are a more darker band these days and their song writing has developed beyond the simple formula that got them their popularity in the first place. It'll be interesting to see what they produce in the next few years.

Oh and Bon Iver was sensational!
