Yes, I understand it's a Public Holiday (along with 11th Nov) ... one of my Customers is a French Company and I rather got the impression that half the staff have got the whole fortnight off

whenever a Bank Holiday falls on either a tuesday or a thursday most companies take 'le pont' or the bridge which means this time most people left of work last friday had their weekend then took the monday as a holiday then had the Bank Holiday (All Souls Day) then return to work today making an extra long weekend - good idea actually
unfortunately although my company consisting seven employees decided on taking 'le pont' I was informed that I had drawn the short straw and would have to be on duty on the monday....

didn't stop me from having a great weekend down in Perpignan to see the french play pretty well against an impressive bunch of scots,most of them inexperienced but just proud to wear the shirt.....

anyway roll on next friday for Armistice Day
