Following that logic any cps solicitor who has ever been burgled couldn't charge a burglar or if they have been involved in an Rta couldn't pursue a drunk driver. Every cps lawyer would be recusing themselves from every case. Grasping at straws

I think there is a possibility that she is hoping to Blag her way out of it.
Surely her lawyers and the Q.C must know that the CPS wouldn't push the button on this no matter who the lead was if there wasn't the facts to back it up I mean how stupid would they look if it comes to light that it is baseless.
If she/they think Levitt would push for a charge when there was no evidence to support it just to get one over her then I suggest that IMHO she/they are delusional.
Don't get me wrong like any case no one can be certain of conviction and she may be found to be innocent but to suggest that Levitt has done this purely out of spite is beyond silly.

Quite, and the threat of JR is nothing more than an attempt to deflect attention from herself. Any judge with half a brain will throw that out before it gets anywhere.

Unless she has a decent clue what the outcome is likely to be and is trying to cover other bases incase she happens to be found guilty.

I reckon she'll take many politicians and coppers with her, she's odious but she's not alone, most of this happened under a Labout government remember, messrs Blair and Brown may not sleep well for many months (likewise Cameron, Clegg, Cable etc etc)

Well it would seem that Jeremy Paxman is no longer on Piers Morgan's christmas card list after he stated that Morgan knew 'this went on' with regard to knowing about factory settings of mobile voicemail activation codes. He also stated that Morgan teased Ulrika Johnson about how he knew what had happened in conversation between her and Sven-Göran Eriksson.
