It's pretty good I reckon. They've clearly just copied the best features from firefox and chrome but it's a lot better than previous MS browsers.

| Quote [iDear Blackberry user
Please see the below regarding RIM (Blackberry) services, this is not a network issue as it covers all users worldwide.
Blackberry users may experience delays in sending or receiving messages, roaming in another location, or using other services such as Internet browsing or instant messaging. Users may also be unable to create new accounts, integrate third-party email accounts, or use BlackBerry subscriber web sites. Devices may not receive new service books. Devices that request a new PIN may not receive a PIN. BlackBerry Enterprise Servers may be unable to connect to the BlackBerry Infrastructure. Customer support teams may experience delays when using BlackBerry administration web sites, creating subscriber accounts, or provisioning services for subscribers
RIM have advised they are working on the issue but have not resolution timescale as of yet

| I wonder if anyone is able to shed light on a problem I've had for a while.
We have two computers upstairs that the kids use. One connects to the internet just fine but the other will not. Both are using a wireless dongle and I've tried switching them but still no joy on the non-functioning one. The icon in the tray at the bottom (two monitors) says we are not connected to the 'house' network, yet after double clicking on the icon I get a box telling me 'wireless networks are available'. I click on 'Connect or disconnect' and the box shows that I am connected to our network! I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting to no effect. There is also an icon for the USB Wireless Adapter that has a green tick on it and says 'Status:normal'. All seems good yet when I launch the web browser it says 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'.
I'm baffled. Any assistance gratefully received.

I'm at work at the moment BG, but I'm 99% certain that it's Vista.

Me and a few mates set up the www.internationalrugbyleague.net website, and while it's going well, I really can't design a decent header/logo for the homepage.
Anyone any advice?

| What you need is a designer/graphics person, not really advice as it's something you either can or can't do.

| I've trawled abouT but can't find anyone that isn't expensive. I've tried myself but , as you say it's something you either can or can't do. I'm the latter.

| Not too surprising they're expensive. The only cheaper way would be if you know someone who could do it as a favour.
Unfortunately I'm also the latter.

| Just a quick question. Recently changed our desktop computer, replacing it with a laptop. We got rid of the monitor but not the tower. Realised that I have some files (just music/photos and some word documents) on the desktop that I forgot to transfer to the external hard drive.
Is it possible to effectively use the laptop as a monitor to access the tower and get the files? If so how/what do I need?
Cheers.

most likely solution, personally never heard of a laptop with a signal "in" option.

| Me either, in fact I don't think they exist (but I'm prepared for some one to say they do!).
I would suggest just using your TV, as it's easiest and cheapest. Alternatively, you could pull the hard drive out of the tower and put it in an external caddy (no more than £10 - £20).

I used SoundForge many years ago, not sure if it's still around though.

Like the rugby ball with the globe on it! Don't think the font goes with the site design though!

Thanks for the response (also thanks to those above too).
I never realised it was easier to connect it to the TV (which does have a PC channel). Is it as simple plugging the tower into the power and connecting it to the TV (is it a VGA cable that does this?) with the TV then being the monitor?

Yup, you may have to adjust the resolution on the PC.
