Got a disgo 6000 running froyo 2.2, only £70. Is good for the price

That's clearly a marketing description of what a firewall does aimed at differentiating their product. A firewall blocks network traffic, any half decent firewall does it in both directions. This isn't exactly a new concept, ZoneAlarm allows you to specify which applications can connect out (as well as receive connections). It did so when I used it and that must have been 10+ years ago.

Just had an email back from Toshiba about the missing keys. They said they could pick it up/arrange for me to send it to them and repair it, but I would be charged for it. They never gave me a quoted price and I can't seem to find any prices on their site. Are they usually dear or are they cheap and helpful? They mentioned in the email that, because the laptop was distributed in 2010, I'd only have until mid-November of its warranty with them left, which doesn't really bother me, but I guess if I did send it to them, it would be better whilst it's under warranty, but they did state that broken/missing keys aren't under their warranty as they aren't an actual 'fault'.

Is it something really worth going to them for, or could I get this done at a local computer shop where druggies sell stolen gear?

I'm not really disagreeing, just if I was to choose a firewall, I'd want something that controls both directions. Even Windows Firewall blocks/allows by program as well as ports.

Tablet question (Android Honeycomb specifically).

Is it possible to save a file from the internet and upload it to a website within the Honeycomb OS? eg. can I save down a picture to the hard drive and then upload it on to Flickr using the standard Flickr website ([inot[/i using a dedicated app)?

I can do that on my android phone so I don't see any reason why not.

Which tablet is it and is it any good?

I like the look of the Sony Tablet S. But, I'm not buying a tablet that is as restricted as the iPad ... I basically want a low powered PC in slate format.

Quite like the Samsung Galaxy 10, and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, although they all seem to have some serious flaws according to user reviews.

I have 2 partitions on my pc, one with xp and one with Win 7. I have Itunes installed on both, Basically, I want to get rid of the xp partition as I have no use for It anymore other than to sync and put music on my Iphone. Because as itunes will only let me sync my phone with one version of itunes so to speak.

Anyone know how I can make it so the itunes on the win 7 partition becomes the main one without having to do a fresh sync and having to wipe all the music off my phone to then have to put the same tracks back on all over again.

I wish it could just be like a bog standard mp3 that just acts as a hard drive. Would save a lot of faffing about!...

There are many better tablets than the ipad already, try looking past the apple shininess.

I do work on the chip designs that pretty much all of the currently available tablets are using. The fact that the hardware is the same is getting to be a bit irrelevant - it's pretty much the software & ecosystem that decides that the Ipad sells in huge numbers and the playbook hasn't.

Be interesting to see Amazon's UK pricing - I bet it's closer to £200 than the £130 US price.

Help with Excel

How do you change the tabs (worksheets) within excel to be shown in a diagonal direction as I've many worksheets within a file and by changing them to excel they would all fit on the screen rather than scrolling through them?

Not saying it's the best, just more that it's the market leader and no other brands seem to sell anywhere near as many as the ipad.

A proper graphics card. So it won't run current retail games like FIFA to any passable standard.
