Ash were a bit of a let down...although perhaps 14 year old kids down the front 'moshing' without knowing anything about the band spoilt my enjoyment

However the Futerheads were amazing, i forgot how good they were...and a true story this the lead singer chucked his watch into the crowd...i guy caught it...lead singer went wow good catch how did u manage that....a few second of silence i shout...he had time on his side......plenty of laughs and from the band also....i milked that for the whole day haha

Been listening to a few of the new Kasabian songs on youtube (Velociraptor, Switchblade Smiles) and I can't wait for their new album at the minute. Same goes with Noel Gallagher, I love "The Death Of You And Me" and can't wait for the album to be honest!

Saw The Jayhawks at Manchester Academy last night. Very good gig. The line up is the "classic" one from "Tomorrow the Green Grass" era, first time they have toured like this since 1995. New album, Mockingbird Time, out in September - can't wait. They played a few songs from the new album, and they sounded really good.
