| Isn't it odd how all the TV aerials in my area point towards Emley Moor transmitter and yet all the Satelite dishes point at near right angles to them in what could only be described as a direction of 28.2 degrees East. Exactly where the SKY Satellite is supposed to be. Clever these NWO people aren't they, hiding an invisible TV Transmitter on the hills between here and Sheffield.

As your good luck would have it, one of the working satellites, and not even a NASA one, the International Space Station, will be passing overhead in full view all the next week. Any ISS prediction program or app will forewarn you of the precise times and path at your location, and all you need is a reasonably clear sky.
The brightest imminent pass will be next Wednesday, but you can see it every evening, even tonight low in the South for a short distance.
Here is a chart showing what you'll see, (next Wednesday) with rise, peak and disappearance times. The main stars are clearly mapped and I've pointed a red arrow at the spot where the ISS will cross into the Earth's shadow and rapidly fade out of view.
Enjoy! And then try to make up some ludicrous alternative explanation.

[iThat doesn't prove anything. Like i said they're separate to the Tv feed. Also built up areas wouldn't use the same masts for obvious reasons Most Terrestrial Aeries point towards Winter Hill in the Manchester area. Just incase you haven't noticed there are Communication Masts Everywhere. Where i live the Sky dishes point towards a known mast in the Trafford Park area. The EMF count is off the scale where its located. I should know i carried out Fire Risk Assessments there.Obviously i can't account for everyones TV feed but just to prove the terrestrial TV signal is still analogue fed, when the digital switchover happened nobody had to switch aerials. The Digibox or your in built in Freeview TV transforms the analogue to Digital exactly the same with Sky. Simples[/i.

Quite the ego you have there, Stan.

You do realise that he thinks the ISS is a hologram?
If you're prepared to go to those kind of lengths to preserve your original lie, nothing will be off limits when it comes to explanations.

Certainly is.
I'm sure he'll be along to let you know why soon enough. If you've got a sado-masochist streak you could search back over the couple of large threads that contain his ramblings to see it for yourself.

This is not a reply, I am just quoting Stan's rambling random keypresses for amusement. Talk about losing the plot! There's nothing to add, really, he was bad from the start, but has now become a caricature.
I am reviewing my former position on not playing chess with pigeons.

LIAR! All Sky dishes there point to the same place in the sky as all Sky dishes in the rest of the UK!
You do tell some absolute corkers!
Quote ="FLAT STANLEY".... just to prove the terrestrial TV signal is still analogue fed, when the digital switchover happened nobody had to switch aerials. '"
Sadly, history records that the government switched off the last analogue TV signal on 23 October 2012. It just did. This is a simple and uncontroversial fact.
The reason many upgraded their aerials when the original switchover happened was simply because the original digital signal were transmitted at reduced power, precisely so as to not interfere too much withe analogue signals. Nobody said you had to get a new aerial (well, scaremongering vendors and salesmen excepted) - if you were in a good signal area, you certainly wouldn't. But due to the reduced power initial broadcasts, some people did have to, to get decent reception. Again, all simple historical fact.
Quote ="FLAT STANLEY". The Digibox or your in built in Freeview TV transforms the analogue to Digital exactly the same with Sky. Simples[/i.'"
In your head it probably does, but sadly in real life the digital terrestrial broadcasts work by what's called multiplexing, so that instead of one channel, one station, they could squeeze multiple channels into a single UHF slot. This meant instead of the 5 analogue channels we had, suddenly we moved to (initially) 6 Digital Terrestrial multiplexes. Each one could carry maybe 8 broadcasts, and those comprised the initial 50 or so Freeview channels.
Simples, as you like to say. Fact, as it is.
The analogue TV broadcasts really do not exist any more, and for basic simple reasons, could not carry the number of channels you can get from your terrestrial aerial, so that is proof enough. (Well, no proof at all for you, obviously, but I don't count you).
Both the old analogue and the current digital terrestrial broadcast in UHF that is, 470-890 MHz
Here's a list of some of the main microwave band allocations. Sadly, these are the only frequencies that the satellites work, not UHF, and you need a line of sight and a suitably aligned dish. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the electromagnetic spectrum is a very crowded, and highly regulated and policed, place an there is no room for any mystery or secret signals like the ones you claim magically enter your Sky dish. It's all just in your head.
If these band allocations aren't to your liking, see the government, not me -I'm just quoting them. I am not in charge of allocations!
But aren't the actual facts tiresome, eh?

| It's a lifestyle choice ....
Why live in a boring world full of Science and facts, when you can live in an exciting world full of comic book heroes, mystery and intrigue.
It's an easy choice and it's what so many 'smart people' are choosing to do.
Eventually we will all be smart, even me.
Well perhaps not me ....

| If anyone needs to see a prophetic bit of cinema, check out Idiocracy.
It seems that in a lot of cases modern technology and knowledge, rather than make a lot of people smarter and more aware, is actually making them dumber. It doesn't help that a certain section of American culture wears its ignorance as a badge of honour, including their politicians. That culture drip feeds into the rest of western society. The internet is a great tool to increase your knowledge but most people use it to watch porn and cat videos. It also gives the nutters that used to argue with the bushes at bus stops a place to gather, share, and reinforce their wild fantasies.
It's a strange world.

| The flat man wouldn't answer what conspiracy theorists did before the internet, obviously, so I had a look over a few articles. The following quotes sum up the whole charade perfectly.
Quote There has always been crackpots. The problem we have with the internet is that before you could only carry a sign and maybe distribute pamphlets. The odds of anyone running in to a crackpot were quite limited, and even then you could choose not to accept the offered pamphlet. These days they have the internet at their disposal, which means the rest of us have to endure their bull. And all you have to do is visit any sort of website that has people discussing things.'"
Quote The problem is that these nutjobs (and other nutjobs with every other unprovable theory under the sun) don't limit themselves to forums where they're welcome. They slither into essentially every forum at one time or another, and pollute otherwise rational discussions with their unprovable claims. Rational people attempt to show them the gaps in their thinking or smother them in sarcasm, and from there, discussions spiral into awfulness.'"

Sums up well, but not perfectly.
It doesn't matter if a hoax proponent is a troll, delusional, mad or just brainwashed and gullible, if their ramblings go unchallenged then someone will read it and of these, some, having had exposure to hardly 1% science at school, risk being sucked in to the madness. So the trick is to coldly expose the drivel with the facts and the science, until the delusional's side of the convo degenerates - as Stanley's has - into incoherent and increasingly bizarre ramblings, when they reach the finger-in-the-ears cryptic incoherence stage, plain for all to see.

| Stan has one big problem. He believes in the literal interpretation of the bible. Which means flat earth, 6000 years old etc etc.
He has to fit everything else under this core belief. Nothing can undermine it, no matter how obvious. He has to go to incredible lengths to make everything squeeze into this core belief to the point that he probably can't keep track of all the inconsistencies.
The stupid thing is, he can still believe in God and what the modern world tells him. Like ISIS, it's his unwavering belief in literal interpretation that causes the problems. It's okay when individuals with crazy beliefs air them, but if enough people adopt those crazy beliefs they start to influence policy and progress in society. Retarding it at the least, and becoming dangerously out of control at the other end.
I think he's a good example of someone who thinks they think critically but is fundamentally dishonest with themselves.
