Well thats a shame, the Racist Van tweets were quite funny for a while.

Despite the fact that its only been running for a week and has been met with astonishment in most quarters, and is being pulled off its trial (probably because of the tweet and phone responses for lifts home), according to that report a "Downing Street spokesperson" has said that it "was starting to work already".

I wouldn't want them to be driving the stupid billboard around Chelsea and Mayfair.

I'd want them to be setting up task forces to hammer everybody in these areas who is employing illegal immigrants with the maximum fines they can.

I have no issue with people here illegally to try and make a better life for themselves. But I do have issues with people who are rich enough to have multi million pound properties but don't feel they can afford to pay legal wages to people who serve them.

He was comparing people who come here to work and make a life for themselves against very rich people who take advantage of illegal immigrants to pay less than the going rate.
The former can deserve sympathy, the latter can't.
