The OT contains history, proverbs, wisdom and Mosaic Law.

The Mosaic law never applied to Gentiles, of which I am one.

Therefore, the history, proverbs and wisdom contained in the OT is very much relevant. The Mosaic Law is interesting, but has never applied to me.

It would have been readily available for your needs.

Earlier you quoted Genesis to contradict the creation of the Earth. How does the whole 'resting on the sabbath' bit fit in with being an RL fan, a sport that has been played on the Sabbath for many years? Does it not make you somewhat hypocritical?

Finally, you ask that people should show you when you have sinned.

We've been telling you for the last 15 pages that you're sinning. If homosexual marriages are such a crime in the eyes of the non-existent creator, then why hasn't he done something about it? Perhaps you're the sinner, but too proud to accept it?

He said that Sabbath observance was not a duty that mankind owed to God. Rather, God made the Sabbath as a day of rest for mankind's benefit. If mankind wishes to use this day to play, coach or enjoy rugby league then that is their prerogative. I go to church on Sundays but I also enjoy the odd game of RL. There is nothing hypocritical about that.
