Quote ="Dita's Slot Meter"You're probably right - He's a left wing pressure group. As a mainstream party leader, he would be a total disaster.
Blair has many faults, but his words today were pretty much spot on with regard to the dangers of Labour lurching further left - If Corbyn does get in, then I'd expect a SDP-style breakaway party to be up and running come Christmas time.'"
Blair would do well to keep his own counsel until after the publication of Chilcott. What a pity those fawning over him today didn't ask the question why he needed to receive so much money from recognised dictators.
Labour should be working hard to attract the non-voting and disaffected factions of the electorate. Those groups see little difference between the tories and Blairites and they're correct, there is little difference between them.
It's high time the unions withdrew all funding from Labour and looked to starting another party. If that keeps the tories in power for a generation, so what?
