As a point of interest, do any companies at all actually pay tax, or is tax just for the hoi polloi?

There was another meeting in Paris today, the OECD were discussing trans-border taxation and country-by-country reporting. Economist Richard Murphy and one other were lined up against all the big accountancy firms.

The [iTelegraph[/i certainly used to be an excellent paper. Unfortunately, it's not what it was, but it is still interesting to see a report on this in such a paper.
