It is when it becomes excessive, turning everything that is aimed at men into 'oh that's sexist'. (though i never understood the McCoys being 'Man Crisps', or Yorkies apparently being not for girls. That seems like alienating potential customers to me.) The amount of trivial things i've seen on Twitter posted under the guise of that new worldwide craze 'Everyday Sexism' is truly hilarious. Asda selling only blue Angry Birds T-shirts is apparently sexist, as is a girls t-shirt that says 'when i grow up i want to marry a Prince'. Hardly sexist, more like lazy-ar*ed marketing. There's now a woman who wants all lads mags banned as they ''send out the wrong messages'', (because womens beauty mags don't do that do they? Nor do trash magazines like Hello who, 2 days after Kate gave birth, were interested in her post-baby weight-loss routine), and can cause violence towards women. Can they? Really? Any evidence of that? I doubt it. Co-Op wants Zoo & Nuts et all to be in brown envelopes to protect children, if they must, then fine.
Anybody remember that song by Alicia's Attic, that had the line 'I feel like i wanna smash his face in. Yeah, that'd be fun!''. I want it banned off the radio......... ASAP
