Yup. I read an article the other day that said they are very unhappy at the decision to release her and that in Italy the general consensus is that the appeal will be successful.

Given the US's over-zealous approach to extradition (even of those with learning disabilities) for pretty low level crimes, it would be hypocrisy of the highest order if they refused to extradite someone in relation to a murder.

And as we know the Americans are never hypocritical.

Well, in England and USA certainly, but I have no idea under Italian law, and anyway I'm not sure the claim would be worth much. IIRC she was single, no kids and not working?
