Sam i think playing the rules we will in a tournament is sensible, there seems to be some changes and we need to get used to playing them.

Interesting that in mixed competitions that there will be a max of 5 males on the pitch at any time, i know in some that will be ok and in others we will have loads more wanting to play than that, perhaps something we need to discuss and look at maybe entering 2 teams.....but we need another 2 girls as well

That is actually a lot of changes. I also think it'd be a good idea to play to the proper new rules but we might need to read these out before we start on Monday and possibly even phase them in a few at a time to avoid confusion.

I'd love to know what rule 3 was

3. If a winger is persistantly avoiding the ball/play, the referee has the following options:-

a) Award a penalty to the opposition side, (play not in keeping with the spirit of the game).

b) Play advantage to the winger's side, (rewarding for energy conservation).

c) Warn the winger and if the laziness persists strike him repeatedly with the whistle, (sado-trombum penalty).
