Leaving aside the concerns about Reebok supporting Israel at the current time, they're bloody awful aren't they. Where has the colour come from, where's the V to make it look like a rugby league shirt. (Agree that this seems to be the trend everywhere at the mo.). Also why have we decided to put cross symbols all over everything? Throwback to the crusaders days? Def not needed if we're trying to attract Muslim players and fans and no idea what the connection to London is.
According to the waffle when shirts were released, the blue connects to London (really), symbolising loyalty, trust & heritage. Signaling ambition & growth (don't laugh). The St George's cross representing London as home. Think the white was representing purity & other stuff.
It's just sad that we put together a squad with the potential to storm the championship in a kit that is so so meh!
