 | Apparantly according to my NRL friends the West Tigers play the most 'off the cuff' Rugby in the NRL and hopefully Royce will bring that back to Saints.

Jake Emmitt - Castleford Tigers
Nick Fozzard - Castleford Tigers
Matty Smith - Salford City Reds
Jack Bradbury - Blackpool Scorpions

Matt Gidley - Retired
Keiron Cunningham - Retired

Players i believe are leaving....

Ade Gardner - Salford City Reds
Chris Dean - Released
Andy Yates - Released
Tom Armstrong - Released

I make that 12 First team members leaving our squad for next year.

Michael Shenton - Castleford Tigers
Louie Mccarthy Scarsbrook - Harlequins R.L

Very Strong team imo. I can see Makinson taking a starting spot on the wing and Carl Forster getting plenty of game time from the bench. We will be top 4 imo.

 | i think jonny lomax would be in the team ahead of wheeler, lomax has played outstanding all season i wouldnt be suprised if he gets a 1-5 number he deserves one he was the stand out player for me on the saints team in the grand final he looked like he was the only person who wanted it along with roby and wellens

 | It is almost like we have revolving doors at the club at the moment. Given the list of names we have leaving, then there surely must be cap space for further signings, especially if the "Ade" rumours are true. This view is strengthened when you consider that Longy left last year and the only one to come in was Soliola.

 | I'm a little dissapointed that tom Armstrong has been released, given how much his try scoring form has shot up this year. I guess there must be some big holes in his game that we haven't seen in his limited first team appearences, although he always seemed pretty solid.

 | It's a good team, but not much strength in depth, another injury ravaged season and we'll be in trouble

 | The only loss out of those that are going is Emmitt, who I would have liked to seen stay to see how he develops. The rest are neither here nor there.

The big thing for me with Simmons coming on is improving our defence and hopefully he can add some of his playing nous to Roby and Moore.

Good, although he needs to be going out on loan, preferably to a SL club to test his real metal. Reserve grade is too easy for him, if you note his try scoring.

Your sources are doing you a terrible disservice. Everytime you say something, Saints post an announcement contradicting it. For example your releasing of Armstrong when in fact he has signed a new deal.
