Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

It's all downhill from here. Over the halfway mark and Superleague heads towards the minor premiership and the play-offs. In the predictions league our three 'so called experts' are separated by just nine points.

Our brave predictors throw their hats in the ring, once again.

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 14.

Playing against Castleford before coming in to your Cup Final game against Leeds isnít the best preparation for any side. But when you add to the fact Leeds have put 44 and 40 points past the bulls this season already, and add that they looked pretty dangerous against an in-form Wakefield then you cant see past a Leeds win (unless your name is Mick). Especially when it looks like Leeds will be putting out the strongest team to face them this season. Itís Blueyís first game at the Catalogue Speedway track the Sun looks as though itís going to be out, it should be a try track, and I expect a win for the Blue and Amber. Attendance to be 18,000 (Thanks to Leeds taking 6,000) Eddie to mention Saints 15 times, and Bradfords immense Injuries 5 times, with maybe Phil Clarke bringing Wigan into the frame some where. What Ė No Saints on Sky for Eddie to cream his pants to! Whatís he going to do? Catalans come into this in the back of 2 defeats but they should have enough quality to take 2 points from this one. The Giants shocked me at the weekend putting in what must have been a great performance against KR, who hammered them the previous week. I fancy Catalans to take it due to the home advantage, but I donít expect it to be a pretty game. Dragons by 8

Hulls form of something like w-l-w-l-w-l could mean an upset could be on the cards here but I pretty much doubt it. Saints had a good win against a poor Dragons side last week but I reckon Hull will be up for this after last weeks defeat at Harlequins. I cant see Hull taking anything but I donít think Saints will take them to the cleaners too badly. A change of coach can sometimes breath new life into any team but itís a tough game to come in to. Harlequins gave a hammering last week out and KR received one so youíd be right in thinking there was only one outcome here 2 mid-table teams with only a point to separate them itís going to be close and I donít usually go for a draw but I wouldnít be surprised if it was, however draws a very rare so Iím going to pick a winner KR by 2

O'Loughlin out for sure, and Mathers has been topping his tan up in Benidorm this week, so cant see him playing. Wigan looked pretty good last week although the injuries to Wire made the score a lot prettier then it should have been. Wakefield will be looking to bounce back this week after a heavy loss to the Champions. Despite Home advantage and although Wigan are missing their Captain I just fancy Wigan. Cheats by 14

Injuries just keep coming to Warrington, rumours galore this week about Head coach Cullen getting sacked Ė luckily they come up against the cast of Deliverance and have a good hard pitch to attack them with. Iím expecting a huge response after a poor second half against Wigan. Joe Westerman says heís been embarrassed by Castlefordís form and so he should be and Iím afraid heíll be embarrassed come Bank Holiday Monday evening. Wire by 36
