Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

If any weekend was going to be difficult to predict, then this is the one.

No home advantage, local rivalries, different atmosphere, dodgy video referees.

Our brave predictors throw their hats in the ring.

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 13.

Warrington are looking over there shoulders this week and could end up dropping out of the top 6, something that should not be happening. Paul Cullen has had money to burn and done nothing with it. Last week they got a lead but couldnít keep it and his board must surely be losing patience. Things are getting worse and worse for Huddersfield they look almost as bad as Cas at times. Itís the first game of the weekend and I expect the Wire to take advantage of the very good pitch and if the roof stays closed it should be a dry track Ė Wire by 22

Most probably the poorest game is the 1st televised game of the weekend. Wakefield are hitting a bit of form at the minute. This game sees Danny Brough come up against his former team mates. Heís the one pulling the strings at the moment, and a player that if Cas want to get anything from the game, will be the one they have to stop. Cas boosted by Joe Westermanís new contract will possibly see this as a good chance to come away with 2 points, but the confidence in the dressing room must be low. Wakefield, missing Jason Demetriou and Drew, still have big guns such as Rooney and Brough and those are the players I expect to take Wakefield through. Wakefield by 8

Itís the one Peter Hood has been wetting himself for the past year. I expect nothing to be said about Leedsí injury crisis this week despite having 8 players out, yet the bulls that will be without 5 or so will be milking the whole Injury crisis. A lot on the message board as been spouted about revenge and that could prove costly if itís in the players mind. After 160 mins of rugby has already been played, the conditions wonít favour either team but might just benefit the Bulls and I fancy them to sneak away with a win, due to a dubious refereeing decision and a huge penalty count. But Iíd rather take one up the back door from Iestyn Harris then tip a Bulls win against Leeds so Leeds by 16

Ah, on to Sunday, and it's France V England, second in the league, unbelievable Chris Kamara would be saying. Itís fantastic a team that doesnít include one GB player is second in the league but all you international fans just you keep believing England can come away with the World Cup come the end of the year!!!! The 'Quins wont be a happy camp after the loss at Wakefield Iíve said all season the half backs at the quins just donít cut it for me in Paul and Orr. Catalan all the way by 12

FC v. KR

Hull v Hull KR, Hull KR should be able to carry on there good SL form against there neighbours. Cooke is available this time around and they will be hoping Briscoe will have a much better game this time out. Peter Sharp reckons FC have turned a corner Ė I think they will reach a dead end in Cardiff. KR by 6

Wigan got a Rugby lesson on Good Friday and I think theyíll get another Ė boosted by the Brian Noble news. But Wigan and their supporters will be gutted that Trent Barret is leaving Ė Darren Lockyer to Wigan anyone? Despite being behind against the Wire last week, they managed a great come back that almost gave us 'climax' from Eddie and Stevo. Had this game been a regular fixture Iíd have put money on a landslide Saints win but the conditions after having 5 games of rugby played on the pitch should make it a scrappy game, but with Saints dishing the hiding out. Eddie and Stevo to knock one out 4-5 times, mention they are the best in the world 6-7 times and Phil Clarke to find a positive from Wigan. Saints by 16
