Loiner4lifes SLXIII Round 12 Preview

Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

It's been a nice week off as your tipsters return from their Challenge Cup watching to bring you their insight into this weekends round of Superleague. It's been a bad month for Oldham Rhino, a reasonable one for but the best for L4L who is the top placed of our three.

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 12.

Hull KR put up a good fight back in February, a few months on the team have clicked together and look a good unit and they have the added bonus of having Paul Cooke this time around. They bagged a lot of points in cup last week but the Leeds defence should be too good. Leedsís b team showed Celtic they will need much better players should they get a franchise place. Leeds still are without a few first team players but Superman is Back. The key man for Hull is Clint Newton - keep him quiet and we should leave East Hull with 2 more points. Leeds by 8

Much as been said over the years how Warrington just cant seem to defeat the Saints, Earlier this Season I thought Warrington might turn it around despite me backing the Saints. With the home advantage in mind as well as Saints missing a few players I just fancy Wire here. Warrington by 6

Catalans have been excellent this season and I fully admit Iíve been wrong the past year with my thoughts on them. They looked to be a team that have improved since Jones left. Iím not very much up on Catalans but maybe itís the fact they have kept there best few players free of injury, Iíd be interested to see how they cope with a little Injury Crisis. The team moral could be affected by Potters decision to leave this week. Castleford should find them selves lucky there is no relegation this season they are so poor. Cas will be hoping to turn the Home fixture around in this tie, Unfortunately I donít see that and Iím going for a 7th? Catalan Victory in a row. Dragons by 14

Quins will benefit from having a Ďtougherí game against Cas last week as oppose to the Wild Cats stroll in the park against Salford, Iím surprised the wildcats didnít add 12 - 20 points more then they did to be honest. Last time out in SL the Quins took a little bit of a hiding away to Saints while the Wildcats had a good away win against the Giants. Itís a tough one but Iím going for Quins as they should be better prepared for it having come against tougher opposition and having a day rest extra. Quins by 10

Between these 2 sides they scored a massive 172 points on the board conceding only 10 over 1 point every minute. I think this will be a close mid scoring game as in SL both are not that far apart in terms of attack and defence with the Bulls just edging it. Noble knows a hell of a lot about a lot of the bulls camp which should stand them in good order but I just fancy Bulls in front of 12,000 fans to come through it. Bulls by 16

11th v 10th should be cracker shouldnít it! Itís another game where you just wonder if Hull lose the coach could be out. With numerous rumours on who will be Hull coach next year itís interesting to see what will happen at Hull - I hear Graham Murray will be there but his contract runs until the end of the season so Hull may have to stick with Sharp. Jon must be thanking God Huddersfield gave him a new deal when they were hitting a little Form as they have lost back to back SL games against Catalans and the Wildcats. Hull are starting to get a little run of Form winning 2 games in a row!!!! I expect it to be 3 - just. Hull FC by 10
