Loiner4lifes SLXIII Round 11 Preview

Not L4L!
by Loiner4life

After Loiner4Lifes' 'Tipster of the Week' performance in Round 10, and Oldham Rhino's very unimpressive 'all wrong' then all eyes will be on our pundits ahead of another tough Round 11. With Leeds taking on Warrington, KR hosting the Bulls and the Giants in a local derby with the Wildcats, nothing looks easy for our interpid three this week.

Here are my thoughts on this weekend's action in Super League XIII Round 11.

You know what? I just fancy Castleford to get back to back wins and this result should it go their way, it could seal the fate of Peter Sharp. Hull do have injuries, but they also have one of the best academies out there and won that competition last year - where are the youngsters coming through? The Bulls, Leeds and Saints to an extent have managed but who would have thought after 10 rounds Castlefordís only 2 wins would be against last seasons finalists? If youíd have given me 10000/1 I would have turned it away. I think it will be close but Iím going for the Tigers by 8

Both had shocking results last week, providing Warrington donít use the flop at every attempt to play the ball and get away with it or bring Dan Marino in for the game then Leeds should win. Although Leeds are without 5 Grand Final winners and Worrall but still seem to get over looked as having an injury crisis. Warrington notably have Bridge (injury) and Westwood (Suspended) but the 2 leading try scorers in the competition (Donald and Hicks) are on show so there is the potential for a high scoring game. To be honest I fancy a sneaky Dire win but Iím not backing that! Leeds by 14

St Helens v Harlequins The Quins are hitting a bit of good form at the moment they have certainly surprised me this season. Saints will be hurting after last week. The possible return of Paul Sculthorpe will lift them - how many games he lasts is another matter, Hargreaves and Talau also return. it could go either way but Iíll say Saints due to home advantage. Usually itís the salary cap that helps Wigan out, last week it was the Quarter Back and Steve Gansonís letting the game flow that helped them. They didnít deserve the win end of. Catalans had a good away win last week but I donít know if they can manage back to back wins especially coming up against a decent side. Wigan by 8

Wakefield had a fantastic win last week and are not to far from the top 6 while the Giants ran the Dragons close last week. Iíve not had chance to look at the squads as they donít get announced until tomorrow but I think the Wildcats may come to the end of their little roll. Giants by 4

Bulls are hitting some good form at the moment even with the injuries they have to some big names they are still managing to turn teams over. Hull KR took a bit of a hiding last week from the Quins and I expect the same this week by a large score too. Bulls by 24
