Rhinos 2007 Fixtures Announced
Posted by southstander on November 27 2006 - 00:01:03

Almost two months after the last game of the 2006 domestic season, the fixtures for 2007 have been released.

Next year there will be twenty-seven rounds, thirteen home, thirteen away, and one on the road in Cardiff. The Rhinos will play the Bulls in Cardiff (now there's a surprise) and will also face our arch rivals on at least another three occasions throughout the season.

2007 Fixture List in full here....

We start the season on the 11th February with sunday afternoon trip to Sunny Salford before welcoming Hull FC to Headingley the following friday night. The third fixture sees us travel to the south of France to take on the Catalans Dragons, as reported earlier this week on SouthStander.com.

During the season we play away twice at Bradford and Hull KR, while welcoming Hull FC and Wakefield to Headingley on two occasions.

It seems that we've been treated a little harshly by the 'fixture fairy' with back to back trips to Humberside and across to Saints/Wigan in May and July respectively.

The annual trip to the capital city is on sunday the 5th August, twenty days before the Challenge Cup Final, should we be lucky enough to make it!

One relief is that we only have to play the early 5/2 favourites, St. Helens, twice (21/4 and 6/7).

Here are the fixtures in full.
