After an bit of an hiatus, SouthStander.com is back with a prediction competition for the 2006 season.
We'll be running it through the messageboard this year and while anyone can play, only those who have signed up to the 2006 sponsorship (shares still available) will be eligible for the monthly and the overall prizes.

My philosophy on predictions competitions is to keep things simple. It makes it much easier to follow and keeps the league table tight all season long. So here's how it works. Each Monday (except this week), we'll post the following weekends fixtures on the messageboard. All you need to do is reply to that thread telling us which team will win and by how many points. We then tabulate you points like this:

Correctly predict a draw: 5 points
Correctly predict the right winning team and the right margin: 3 points
Correctly predict the right winning team, but not the right margin: 1 point
Anything else: 0 points
|
We'll have Tipster of the Month prizes and the winner at the end of the season will win a 2007 home replica shirt as soon as they become available.
So keep your eyes on the messageboard and best of luck for the season.
