Hetherington 1, Caisley 0

One-Nil
It's not enough for Gary Hetherington that his old-enemy and arch-adversary Chris Cailsey is calling it quits after the World Club Challenge...he has to rub his nose in it!

Once again, Hetherington has shown that he is a shrewder operator in the world of PR, than he has been in the close-season transfer market.

Hetheringtons latest PR coup has been to encourage Rhinos fans to attend the World Club Challenge this friday night...and support the Bulls. Whilst Hetheringtons statement is surely tongue-in-cheek, the story has been picked up by the media and paints our chief executive in a very good light.

Any backlash the statement will get from Rhinos fans is tempered by the embarrassment that Caisley will be feeling about his opposite numbers altruistic approach. Last year, at this time, the Bulls were helping the Canterbury Bulldogs plot the downfall of the Rhinos by assisting them with training in the lead up to last years game...ultimately to no avail.

This latest 'one-over' Caisley follows a string of others, most notably around the Iestyn Harris signing which has left the Bulls and Harris facing hefty bills for breach of contract and illegal approach to the player.

Whatever happens on friday, the Rhinos have won this little PR battle.
