U21's Grading Phase Groups Announced
Posted by southstander on January 24 2005 - 14:18:28

By Matthew Horton

The 2005 Academy season are almost upon us again and again this season there will be a grading phase to determine which division teams will play in during the current season.

Both the Under 21's and Under 18's will be looking towards having a better season this year. The Under 21's finished Minor Premiers last season, only to lose out to Bradford Bulls in the Grand Final and the Under 18's, after finishing 4th in the league table were knocked out at the Final Eliminator by St Helens. Although the grading groups are known, the fixtures have yet to be confirmed.

Grading Opponents are;

Under 21's

Salford City Reds
Warrington Wolves
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Under 18's

Huddersfield Giants
London Broncos
Warrington Wolves
Hull Kingston Rovers

You play each team once, two games at home and two away. This then forms a composite table of all the teams in the grading phase. The top ten teams form the Championship and the remaining teams, plus those who do not enter the grading phase, are placed in Division One.

Don't forget will be at every Senior Academy match this season bringing you all the action and again the site sponsoring the man of the match award for all home games.

The full fixture lists will be posted on the site as soon as the final details are confirmed.
