rhinoms Superleague XX Previews - Round 11
Posted by southstander on April 15 2015 - 17:10:10

Only four Super League games for us this weekend, but by heck, they are four belters.

It's still massively tight at the top and the Saints can haul the breakaway leaders, Leeds Rhinos back into the chasing pack with a win a Langtree Park. Wigan and Warrington will also have a battle royal to be in a position to benefit should Leeds slip up.

We take a look ahead to this weekends action here.....

Due to the new format in SL last years bottom join the Challeng Cup this weekend so we only have four Super League games to preview but two of them are potentially belters as first plays second and third plays fifth with only one point separating them.

Here are this weeks previews.

This is a heavyweight contest when the Wolves visit the Pie dome not least as this was the fixture that ended their 2014 play-off campaign.

For the Pies they welcome back shithouse Flower after his ban for his cowardly attack on Hohia in the GF.

This could go either way neither team has hit top form consistently but both will be desperate for the pts which would give the winners momentum for a top 3 spot.

Expect fireworks and hopefully some quality attacking RL but the visitors are still unbalanced with their HB pairing chopping and changing and that will ultimately prove costly here.

The League Leaders travel west to Langtree Park to take on second placed and defending Champs STís.

It promises to be the game of the season thus far itís just a shame both teams are missing firepower for their 1st choice 17ís.

Walsh returning at 7 for the hosts is massive and expect him to target the 2 young Leeds replacement wingers with his kicking game.

If the visitors can control the forward game we should have enough to open up a 6pt lead but the hosts will be fired up & desperate to see that gap at 2pts come F/T Toss a coin for the winner it may even be a draw but Iím going with a hard fought electric paced Rhinos win.

Despite a close defeat v STís last week the Giants at home should be too tough of a task for the travel sick Dragons.

Two big packs and creative HB pairings on show so there should be some entertaining RL on show I just donít see the visitors having enough to win.

A comfortable home win and more travel woes for the Frenchmen.

The Vikings are capable at home but they have to cut out the costly errors that saw them gift FC the points last week.

D.Powells Tigers are showing more of their winning form from 2014 and look like a serious top 6/8 challenger.

With the pressure building on the home side I expect them to come out fired up and ready to attack from all over the pitch but the visitors are tough defensively and have points in them.

A fast & entertaining game but the visitors are stronger across the park and carry the better form so itís an away win for me.

If you are travelling to a game have a safe journey and enjoy the action.

Thanks for reading.
