rhinoms Superleague XIX Previews - Round 15

Round fifteen and it's all eyes on the top, and bottom, of Superleague.

There are some potential humdingers of games on offer and SKY looks to have harvested the crop of them with the Giants versus the Warriors on Thursday night and the Rhinos visiting the Wolves as Fridays televised game.

Elsewhere there is an intriguing battle between the Bulls and the Wildcats, a game which could either increase the excitement at the bottom until the end of the year or put another nail in the Bulls coffin.

It should be an other brilliant Superleague weekend.

We preview the action here.....

We are now into the second half of the regular SL season this week we enter round fifteen, here are this weeks previews.

The hosts have failed to find their consistency and at times confidence that saw them win the League Leaders Shield in 2014 as shown during the convincing defeat at Saints last week.

The visitors beat the big spending Devils with only six players all of which were u5ís if you believe the Sky commentary team.

A quality game in prospect with both looking for spots in the top three come play-off time.

It should be close but something isnít clicking for Mono Brow and the Giants something which I expect to be exposed by the extremely confident Double holders.

Another resounding defeat in store for the shrinking violet good Dr. and his mercenaries when they visit the Saints.

Confidence should be restored for the home team after dismantling the Giants last week whilst the visitors lack depth ,quality and nous to seriously challenge for the win.

It might be competitive for an hour or so but the home side have too much fire power to be troubled.

The hosts have been very inconsistent this year both result wise and with their selections as they search for a working formula particularly at HB.

The League leaders bounced back with a very scrappy win against a poor team in a game best forgotten.

The Wolves have a good record of turning it on at home whenever Leeds visit and I think that will be the case this week however I think our backs have the edge & will get us a close win.

A fast entertaining game which hopefully wonít be spoiled by umpteen VR referrals and a whistle happy Child.

After a straight forward loss away at Cas last week Betts will expect his team to turn on the style and blast the visitors off the park.

If the visitors can be pretty ruthless ,skilful and uncompromising at home when they travel itís a different story they become ill disciplined, scrappy and weak.

It should be competitive to start with but as the host get one or two scores in front the French challenge and enthusiasm will melt.

The host will look to keep improving and get a step closer to that elusive win but will once again come up short against the B&W also rans.

It may be a return to winning ways for the visitors but they are way off becoming a decent team capable of a top six challenge.

This could decide who stays in SL and who joins the Nags in the Championship especially if the brass neck hosts somehow win their points deduction appeal.

Both sides were pasted last week but at least the visitors have shown some real resilience at times this year which is seriously lacking in the Dulls dressing room after the pressure of ownership issues take their toll.

As poor as both sides have been it could be a good game with so much at stake and the huge boost a win for either team should they win.

I think there is just too much wrong at Odslum from top to bottom whereas the visitors have that ďproving the doubters wrongĒ in their DNA over a longer period of time which should prove enough this week.

Both sides go into this on the back of straight forward wins and with a determination to cement their respective spots on the League table.

The high flying Tigers are in third but have Wigan breathing down their necks with a game in hand whereas the Robins are eighth with the Dragons only behind on points diff.

Both teams have decent packs and like to attack with the ball but I think the hosts hold the creative edge out wide and thatís where they will secure another home win.

It wonít be easy and the Robins will make a real game of it but the hosts will just have too much.
