rhinoms Superleague XVII Previews - PlayOffs II
Posted by southstander on September 20 2012 - 07:57:07

by rhinoms

Only two from four last week as our pundits both predicted wins for Warrington and the Giants, neither of which materialised.

This weekends games are much closer to call, so how will they fare as the Dragons host the Rhinos and Hull FC travel to Warrington in sudden death knock-out football.

It should be a great weekend of rugby league.

Read more here....

This week two more teams will exit the Play-offs whilst two will move onto the toughest games of their season.

Here are this weeks previews.

This week the defending champs are rewarded with a trip to the south of France after dispatching Wakey in the last round.

The hosts will have to be much improved and show far more fire than the pathetic effort at the Pie dome last week in which they were hammered.

For us I think defensively we need more intensity in our own 20 whilst attack wise I think we look far more threatening and balanced with Mags back.

Once again our ageing pack will have to stand up and match the much bigger Dragons pack and we must do it after Kylie received a one week holiday via Red-hall.

I think our pack must be in the oppositions faces from minute one and then hopefully Watkins and co can strike with decent ball and get us the spoils. A tough game away from home but as we know this what our lads do and have done time and again and I honestly think we'll get the win.

After getting a resounding beating last time out the hosts will have crashed to earth this week as the pressure of knock out RL dawns on them.

TS is no fool but even he must have been concerned at how his team wee comprehensively outplayed on their own patch.

The visitors showed how poor the Giants really are with a good old fashioned hiding dished out at the KC so they arrive confident.

This could be a belter and much closer than some would predict we know Wire are still very much play-off chokers and Ull aren't as good as they like to think.

Having watched many of TS's teams bounce back in style from adversity i'm going for a home win but it will be close IF the visitor show some sole and mussle up.
