rhinoms Superleague XVI Previews - PO Week 3

We're a week away from the seasons showpiece event at Old Trafford and four teams will all believe that they are in with a shout at making it.

The bookies are expecting Warrington to walk all over Leeds (+12) but that the Saints (+2) have more of a chance at home to Wigan.

What do our two pundits think?

We've finally reached the last hurdle before Old Trafford and now it's down to the "Final Four".

Here are my thoughts on this weeks play-off games.

WOLVES v. RHINOS

As expected the top team picked the team that finished lowest out of who was left.

This is not only the biggest SL game of the year for both teams it's also "Mission impossible" for the Blue 'n' Amber.

We travel across the Pennines with absolutely no one giving us a hope in hell of beating the hosts.

The hosts are rightly favourites after scoring tries for fun and showing a relentless desire in defence something that the Leeds fans have fond memories of when TS was in charge of us.

For us to do the impossible we can't get away with a 60 minute performance or even a 75 minute one of which we've been guilty of this season.

It's a huge task but again the lack of respect given by many pundits and bookies should help fire up the team and show there's still a charge or two left in this years Rhinos vintage.

For me stop the home Front row of Carvell, Morley and most importantly M.Monaghan and we have a very good chance as long as we can combine that with taking our chances.

We also need to be the most composed we've been all year with "look at me it's my game and I'm on TV" Ganson in charge.

All the money points to the home team as do the stats but I believe we have an upset in us and leave the form book and home team in tatters.

An exciting clash in prospect but I trust the lads to get the job done.

SAINTS v. WARRIORS

Another huge game in prospect as the plastic scousers will be determined to show their last win against Rat Boy and Co was no fluke.

Again the pressure will be on the reigning champs and I'm sure Maguire will be hoping his team can turn it around and make it back to OT.

FGB is playing his final home game for the hosts and will hope he and the Dynamo Roby can lay the platform for new fans favourite Lomax to work his magic.

A lot depends on how the visitors can manipulate the whistle blower because they whine like Man Utd and stamp their feet and normally get their own way but of course Blue Circle Wellens can drip with the best of them.

I can see a tough encounter ending with the hosts pace at the ptb been key to the win and for that reason I think the Pies will be left "filling-less" and the "usual suspects" will fight it out for the big one.

Altogether now "You're just our GF b#*ches, You're just our GF b........................".

If you are travelling to a game have a safe journey and enjoy the action.
