rhinoms Superleague XVI Previews - PO Week 2

The season is about to end abruptly for two more Superleague teams.

Will the Giants make home advantage count and bring the Rhinos charge to a halt?

Will 'ratboy' and Maguire be crying tears of sadness, or tears of joy?

Read more here....

This week it's do or die for the 4 teams competing for the right to play in the Grand Final qualifying semis.

Here are my thoughts on this weeks fixtures.

GIANTS v. RHINOS

The Rhinos return to the Galpharm for the 2nd time in 3 weeks only this time the stakes are higher than just two points.

The hosts return to home turf after a huge hiding away last time out against Wire and add to the fact the week before they lost at Home to this weeks visitors their form should worry the home fans.

Coach Brown has reinforcements to call up this week with the return of Cudjoe, Wardle and Ferguson but talisman O'Sitdown misses out on his re-match with TMFMISL.

The Blue 'n' Amber are really showing some form and a steely resistance in defence and although they've lost Watkins and Ablett they still have strike out-wide and resolve with strong running in the Back-Row.

The form of our pack is very good and they will relish taking on "Fat Robbie Savage, 'Take his F#8#in head' off Mason and the hot stepping Faimu.

No second chances ,time to man up and show the "Wire necked Astra thief ,Pug face Robinson and "look at me I can kick Mono-Brow Brough" who the top SL side in Yorkshire really is.

A tough encounter and big hits galore but the visitors have momentum and finally Mc the coach is getting the Rhinos on the charge.

WARRIORS v. DRAGONS

Despite Benthams best efforts and Rat-Boys squawking the Pies were beaten by the much better ST's last time out and after begging the footy team they have permission to use the Pie-Dome on Sunday tea-time.

This week they face the Dragons fire and the team that have beat them twice already this year.

Although manys favourites to do the double the hosts looked tired and short of ideas last week and the visitors will have no doubt noticed this. With Deraeu and Bosc pulling the strings Les Enfants have the power and guile to win a hard fought contest.

The Hosts know full well how lucky they were to win the CC well now it looks like their luck and season is gonna run out of steam.

A huge battle in the forwards but out wide I think the Dragons can get the points needed for the shock win and end all the talk of a double and a "fairytale ending" for Madge.
