International action starts the weekend on Friday and then it's back to business as we look ahead to all the action

Read more here....

This week we start the weekend off with the new England v Exiles concept with the SL fixtures taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
Here are my thoughts on the weekend fixtures.

ENGLAND V EXILES

The new "test match" starts the weekend off and already there are many disputes/discussions who should be in both teams.

It really is a test for Mcbanana and one which will prove much harder than the past French farce.

Bluey will have his side fired up for this one off shot at the pomms on their home turf and his side will be determined to show that once again England sticking with the same old tried and failed structures/players isn't the answer going forward.

I expect an entertaining clash but the Exiles have more quality in the back row and in the backs.

DRAGONS V CRUSADERS

The re-invented Dragons will host another "expansion" club when Coach Harris crosses the channel with his plastic South Welsh team.

The hosts proved last week they have plenty of fure when they completed te double other rat boy and his Pie mates.

The visitors are in for another tough trip and whilst they may compete for an hour or so the task is too big and they'll melt under the Dragons fire.

TIGERS V WARRIORS

The Pies travel to Wrong Turnsville this week hoping to bounce back after last weeks loss in France.

The hosts will be desperate to regain some kind of form and get the banjoes plucking again.

A real tough ask for the home team especially when they are currently lacking any form and confidence.

The Pies will be too strong and leave the locals drowning their sorrows on moonshine and Blues.

WILDCATS V GIANTS

Another real tough test for JK's unloved this week when the joint top team arrive in town.

The hosts are showing plenty of heart and grit but not enough quality and Nounce.

The Giants will be looking to overcome the loss of Mono-Brow plus show the international coach their omitted players deserved a chance.

Another tough sunday for the hosts.

WOLVES V CITY REDS

On paper an easy task for the league leaders but they do have more players than anyone else involved in the international match so it may not be the total wipeout expected by many.

The visitors will be hoping to show their new coach they have potential to improve and challenge fro a top 8 spot.

The hosts will have a tougher afternoon than previous encounters suggest but they still have far too much quality and mongrel to lose to the Reds.

FC V QUINS

Spongebob and his Tongan Muppets welcome the whipping boys to the reef this week.

The hosts will be feeling sole-less after derby defeat last time out and the reality chack that the aren't as good as the local Pollacks think they are.

The "cockney rebels" arrive knowing they are well beaten already and no amount of "jellied eels" will help them.

Despite losing their soap dodging cyclops the hosts will net the win and take advantage of poor opposition when they clam up.

RHINOS V KR

A huge game for the Blue 'n' Amber after been destroyed 2 weeks on the bounce live on tv and a coach showing the reliabillity of a Lib Dem Manifesto.

The visitors arrive in great spirits their troubled "Willie" is long gone and they won the cods-ville derby.

They have also won their last 3 on the bounce against the hosts so have no worries with confidence.

The natives are getting restless the rumours are already circulating re-selection having something to do with bonuses and again there's a lack of confidence in the coach who is going from one strange interview to another.

Time to show up and i hope they do before the "Mc out" brigade make more noises than they already are.

BULLS V SAINTS

A recent run of reasonable form has made Potters planks look better than they are but expect normal service to be resumed this week.

The KFC kid and co arrive this week and their confidence is flying after a superior display agianst the forelorn Rhinos.

The hosts may prove a test for 50minutes or so but expect them to be left on bricks when the shell suited ,"calm down calm down" vistors leave the Pot-Hole.
