rhinoms Previews - Challenge Cup Semi Finals

Just three games this weekend.

The Crusaders and Harlequins catch the rest of Superleague up with a friday night meeting in Wrexham as an apetiser to the two course feast that is Challenge Cup semi-final weekend.

We can't wait, as we give you our predictions.

Read more here....

Here are my thoughts on this weekend huge Cup games and the SL.

This is the game in hand for both teams and a real chance for the unloved and unwanted of Wrexham to continue their push for the top eight. It's been a long hard year for Brian Mc's rainbow brights with some eye catching wins but a lot of dross in between.

The hosts will look at this as two points in the bag and with the crafty old Noble in charge I doubt they'll be taking the cockney outcasts lightly.

A spirited effort from the not so mighty Quins but not enough to halt the welsh crusade for the eight.

This is the biggest game of the season thus far and it really is a monumental fixture.

We have the clear psychological advantage when it comes to the Grand Final but the brookside extras are the clear cup kings.

Some intriguing battles this weekend and with both teams missing cogs In their respective machines for various reasons there's plenty of quality on show.

For our beloved Blue 'n' Amber the season has been stop/start with some quality here and there but also some "below par" efforts. For the scousers they have been picking up of late and looked back to their best when beating the Wire away last week.

So many questions to ask will Leon be visible? Can the strawberry blonde plump kid keep his dummy in?

Is Bailey really that good? Can Keith roll back the clock and destroy the scouse backline. Can we really beat Saints in the Cup?

Of course we can.

Keep the faith, fly the flag and wear the colours with pride we are off to Wembley!

Another semi-final for TS and his SL pretenders.

This time they face the potential banana skin and the nothing to lose Dragons.

Coach Walters will be looking for his les enfants to cause another upset ala the Wigan semi a few seasons ago and with nothing to play for in the SL they are a dangerous opposition.

The Wire start clear favourites and with "Head high" Moz leading the charge they will be looking to ram Monsieur Ferriols words down his throat.

If the Wire bring the speed and flair that TS has instilled then they'll have too much for the frenchies but if it turns into a grind and chess match then we could have shock.

I'd be foolish to tip against the Wolves but don't be surprised if Briers is beeling at FT in despair.

Enjoy the games and safe travel to the Galpharm. Do yourselves and the team proud and if you see any grief or undesirable behaviour do the right thing and rein it in.

Winnings to date: 3.82.
