Rhinoms Superleague XV Previews - Round 17

All three of your tipsters were in the chasing pack picking up five points last week.

Will they over compensate for those on England duty in this weeks round?

Read more here....

Here are my thoughts on this weeks fixtures.

After a morale boosting win last week the hosts welcome ex coach McRae and his Reds outfit to the KC.

The hosts really Battered the scousers into submission last week and put them in their plaice so they should have enough Mussel to beat the Reds.

The Salford outfit did OK against the Wire last time out but not enough to take the points or convince me of anything other than a wasted journey this week.

The locals return home after a shock loss to spongebob and co last week.

The (wannabe)mighty Giants are in town this week after a crushing win against "uber" national coaches dog and gun Bulls. Well OK not actually a pub team that's too harsh on the pub teams in the Bradford area but you get the picture.

Both teams are missing players for the "none event" test match so it could prove to be a close game but not close enough for Browns pretenders.

The on song Wolves entertain the Robins this week with both teams regaining confidence it should be a decent game for the TV cameras. For wire they will be looking to maintain their grip on 2nd place and for Justin Morgans Red half of Hull he'll be hoping for a continued upturn in form and a march on the top 8.

I expect sideshow bob Lee "where's my dummy" Briers to have too much for the Robins this week and expect to be ready with the mute button for when SKYs answer to the Two Ronnies start slavering and gushing over the hosts.

A real test for both teams this week down south.

For the hosts they will be looking to build on their crushing win last time out whilst the defending champs arrive in town minus a host of 1st choice stars through call ups and injuries.

Brian Mc will really have his Rainbows fired up and on colour for this one after they were mauled at HQ earlier in the year. Blueys men will arrive with makeshift halves and without two of their talisman in Peacock and Captain marvel Sinfield so it will be down to the likes of Webb, Senior and JJB et al to inspire the Blue 'n' Amber to victory.

What can you say about our national coach and his team other than HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Well Nobby will be licking his lips and looking to get Humpty back together again when the Bulls arrive in Wrexham. Both teams are coming off the back of maulings although the visitors were more on the receiving end of a men v boys magnitude of a beating. The hosts have been ok this year and won more than expected and with this shambles of a mob to play this week they will relish leaving them with a bigger hole than their crater of dreams in their GF ambitions.

Both teams are missing key men and the fact that their coach is missing actually gives the visitors more of a chance but it still amounts to no chance.

The puddy cats return home after a spirited effort last week at HQ and this week they welcome the league leaders and doers of no wrong!

JK will want his team to step up this week and lay down a marker that they are serious contenders for the eight and with Mcguire already stating he will use his players who were on England duty this could provide a good chance for the hosts to upset the odds.

An intriguing battle and the Wakey team will have to be careful not to tackle the pies or match them in their spoiling tactics because that's not fair and their fans will cwy and cwy.

The toothless and fireless Dragons visit "Deliverance Ville" this week and they will be meeting a team hoping to build on the 22 points they gained away in defeat last week.

The hosts will be missing "Tatts" Mcgoldrick and will be hoping that the ditched Sherwin doesn't come back to haunt them. The visitors stumble from 1 defeat to the next ravaged by injury and lack of confidence they will be hoping for it to be over as quickly as possible so they can get back across the channel before the Hoe down gets into full swing.

Another pointless journey for the Frenchman and a morale boosting 2 points for the "Waltons".
