rhinoms Superleague XV Preview - Round 7
Posted by southstander on March 18 2010 - 08:08:16

New Tipster
by rhinoms

It's not easy this predicting and betting lark. Last week we were let down by Saints, Hull KR and Leeds as our quid once again went into the bookies pocket and stayed there.

I guess that it goes some way to illustrating the unpredictability of Superleague XV.

There are just 23 shares left to take part for the predictions cash prize - so get yours now.

Here we are again with Round 7 upon us already;

CRUSADERS v. DRAGONS

A strange choice for a SKY match given the other fixtures on the calendar. This week Nobbys group of the unloved are at home after an encouraging 30 point haul away at KR.

The only "Thomas" in the village is tipped to make his debut so they could attract a big crowd.

The Dragons meanwhile really are struggling without Bosc and Mogg so I expect them to stay in the mire even longer now they've lost Greenshields for 3 months.

I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel for our channel hoppers.

RHINOS v. KR

The champs return home licking their wounds after another defeat on the rd. This week the selection in the outside backs should be interesting as the treatment room at kirkstall resembles an episode of E.R..

The Robins are coming off the back of a poor 2nd half against a 12 man Wakey who made them look really ordinary at best.

Hopefully we'll have Sinfield back and some of the knocks we've acquired will be shaken off. I'm going for a hard fought home win and a confidence boost before next weeks trip to the form team.

FC v. BULLS

Agars pretenders are back in birds eye country after an away day mauling at the pie-dome.

Luckily for them they are facing the Manly ma........muppets and Worrincy led by agent Mcbanana.

After their embarrassing showing against Wire last week no doubt there'll be plenty of cliché's rolled out in the local T&A by their coach and co. This week will be much of the same for the forlorn dulls with a Stig inspired Hull win.

SAINTS v. WOLVES

The tie of the round in my opinion, can Morley actually lead the Wolves to a win in Brookside country??

The Wolves will be buoyant after a convincing home win against the Dulls but this is a real test for them physically and mentally.

For Saints they really looked vulnerable conceding 30 points against the plastic welsh team but this week with Lead boots Wellens, Gidley and Soliola back I think Harrys' boys will cast their usual spell over the pretenders from the Halliwell-Jones.

QUINS v. GIANTS

The Galpharm boys travel down the M1 with great confidence after a well earned win against the Champs.

Meanwhile the Eastenders wannabes were losing again at home to another struggling Reds outfit.

There really is no prospect of an upset here with a decimated squad and a severe lack of quality if the Quinns keep it under 30+ it could be seen as a moral victory.

Browns boys should show no mercy and cruise to another win.

TIGERS v. WARRIORS

The tiggers are back at the home of the Dueling Banjos this week after a moral boosting win in Perpignan.

The "form team" of the comp are this weeks visitors after another win at the pie-dome the pie munchers really are showing potential as real challengers. With Cas far from convincing at home and the Pies form it all points to an way win and more home woe for the Beverly hillbillies.

WILDCATS v. REDS

John Kear really got the response he wanted from his charges last week at Craven park.

There could be a couple of changes on the Wakey team sheet this week with monobrowed talisman Brough rumored to be on his way out and Paul "I'm not a problem child honest" Cooke on the way in.

The Reds enjoyed a rare win on the round last week but it won't disguise there lack of quality and depth I'm afraid.
