Tad Rhinos Superleague XV Preview - Round 2

Our bet last week fell on three matches. Leeds, as we know, lost to the Tigers, the Bulls didn't get within 4 of the Giants and Saints got a drubbing at home to Hull FC. Lets hope for better luck this week.

There are just 30 shares left to take part for the predictions cash prize - so get yours now. Don't forget, everyone who has bought a share will be entered into mondays draw for a very special match worn shirt.

Here are my thoughts on Round 2 of Super League XV;

FC v. GIANTS

Two first round winners go head to head on friday. The giants were solid against the Bulls, especially in defence, and they will need to repeat that against a Hull side who ripped Saints to bits on saturday. This could well be a solid, dour, defences on top, type game but I fancy home advantage to clinch this one.

REDS v. CRUSADERS

Last seasons, and maybe this as well, bottom two meet at the Willows on friday with both teams thinking this could be there first two points of the season. All i can say is thank your God that this one isn't on SKY!!!!!! Out of sight, out of mind.

WARRIORS v. KR

This is an intriguing match up, and one that will give an indicator as to which, if either, of these teams will be in the running to win things this season. Both had an easy opening game so this is where it starts. According to the press Wigan are leaner and fitter, well they had to be really, and throw the ball about about more. Not a suprise seeing as Mr Dull 'five drives and a kick' Noble, has left.

Rovers have a good solid pack, classy halves, and some good backs. They also have some average players and not enough gamebreakers for me.

TIGERS v. WOLVES

The Tigers put in a good display at Leeds last week while the Wolves had a walkover against 'Quins. This is one I am expecting to be open and end to end, one to look forward to in fact.

Cas are a team in there coaches image. Solid, no frills and hard working. The Wolves are more expansive and I fancy them to go to the Jungle and take the points.

BULLS v. SAINTS

For me this is a case of what team the Saints will put out. If it's full strength they will have far to much for Bradford. If the likes of FGB, Gardener, Soliola etc. are injured then a home win would be on the cards.

QUINS v. DRAGONS

The 'Quins are this seasons whipping boys. Poor recruitment has left them facing an uphill battle from day one and the Dragons huge pack won't do them any favours. Catalans to pick up there first points in this one.

WILDCATS v. RHINOS

Both sides were poor last week, albeit with Wakey winning. I fancy Leeds to be hurting and to come out firing on what is always a good pitch. Delaney missing will give Watkins a chance and how we missed Kylie last week. A classic derby and Leeds to get back on track.
